Checks Re-ordering

Due to the Heartland security breach and recent evidence of fraudulent transactions, NSB has reordered all compromised debit cards. You should receive your cards within the next week. If your debit card was compromised you will receive a letter that was mailed on 6/24/09 outlining the details that you should read IMMEDIATELY.

Your old debit card will continue working for all ATM cash withdrawals, deposits and all point of sale purchases requiring your PIN number. To protect your account, NSB has taken action to deny all signature based transactions. If a merchant asks you, “Do you want this to be a debit or a credit transaction”, answer “Debit”. This will require you to enter your PIN number and your transaction will go through.

Thank you for your patience during this matter, please contact NSB if you have any further questions.
